Industrial manufacturers
8+ verified #1 Google rankings for high-value industrial searches.
Across two specialist industrial manufacturers, we built organic visibility around the searches engineers and production teams use when researching technical equipment.
The objective wasn’t to attract the greatest possible number of visitors. It was to secure prominent positions for commercially valuable product and category searches.
In technical B2B markets, a keyword with 100 highly relevant searches can be substantially more valuable than a general keyword with 10,000 searches.
The challenge
Industrial SEO operates differently from high-volume consumer SEO.
Search volumes are often small, terminology is highly technical and a single relevant search can represent a machinery purchase worth a significant amount.
Generic content was unlikely to influence the right buyers. The websites needed pages that matched specific technical requirements, product categories and stages of commercial research.
What we changed
We treated SEO as a product-led acquisition channel.
Across the two manufacturers, the work included:
- Rebuilding and improving commercial product pages
- Mapping important keywords to the correct pages
- Resolving technical SEO issues
- Aligning titles and headings with search intent
- Producing product-specific and technical educational content
- Strengthening internal links between related technologies
- Consolidating pages competing for the same searches
- Protecting visibility during website migrations with redirects
The results
The verified historical ranking data shows:
- 8+ verified #1 Google rankings
- Additional Top 5 positions for commercial searches
- 132 tracked keyword rankings during one reporting period
- Stronger visibility across strategically important product categories
These results were achieved across two specialist industrial manufacturers and are presented as a combined portfolio result—not as the performance of one company.
Why it worked
The strategy prioritised buyer intent and commercial relevance over total traffic volume.
By building pages around the language, products and questions technical buyers actually used, both manufacturers became more visible at the moments that mattered.
